Evaluation approach
Consider device state, detection capability and server policy jointly. A local observation does not have the same assurance as cryptographic platform evidence. Identify sources separately.
Application example
Cover normal devices, unsupported environments and deliberately modified laboratory devices. Verify that sensitive operations are actually restricted when required, as well as checking for alarms.
Limits and considerations
No signal does not establish device integrity. An unsupported OS version does not automatically indicate a malicious user.
